Service

We specialize in performing Lithium battery and Inverter installation in Winnebago Travato models 59G and 59K, but also work on other smaller RVs (mostly B class but also some shorter Cs). We also provide upgrades and general repairs. See the list of packages for examples of our common upgrades. Most work is done at our B-Haven location although we also do some limited services during travel to or from rallies or other scheduled events.

Please Note:
  • We are not attending any rallies in 2025 -- all work is being done at B-Haven.
  • We don't work on the vehicle chassis with the exception of LED headlights.
  • We are not an authorized service center for warranty repair work.
  • We do not currently install or repair 2nd alternator (UHG or Volta) systems, but are looking into a local shop to take care of those issues.
  • We don't do repairs on Volta Lithium systems - except to replace if completely failed.
  • For Cummins generators, we currently only do oil change and minor maintenance.
  • We don't yet have indoor facilities and delays are possible in bad weather.
  • While we stock many common parts used on the Travato, please contact us to check availability of specific repair or upgrade parts you need (I don't have the inventory list online yet).
  • There are no hotels, car rental, or Uber available in our area. You are welcome to camp in your vehicle before, during, and after service. See B-Haven for more details.

Getting Scheduled

To get on our service schedule for any work from a minor repair or mod to a full Lithium upgrade, please fill out the service request form below. There is no obligation once signed up, and you can cancel anytime. We will only charge you once your service is completed. For emergency service, such as a water leak, no shore power, or repairs to something installed by us, we will schedule you as soon as possible between or before other work. We are commonly booked for several months or more in advance, but will do our best to get you on the schedule quickly or at a later time as you may prefer. Please also peruse the list of packages and specify that or the specific work you require when requesting service. This helps us with scheduling the amount of time you will need. Most repair work and smaller upgrades can be accomplished in a single day, but larger upgrades may need two or more days. When doing multi-day upgrades, we do all the work under one bed within a single day so that it can be restored for your use at the end of the day.

During service

For battery only, or battery plus 2000 watt inverter upgrade packages, the installation can be completed within a single day. For larger upgrades, especially those including a Victron 3000 inverter, the upgrade may take 1-2 days. In all cases the inside work under a bed is completed on the first day, and you can sleep in your rig again normally. Both 12v and 120vac power is available through the duration of the installation (your fridge will remain working, you can microwave lunch) with only a brief interruption (30 minutes at most) to connect up the new systems. We will work with you when you are here to get access to parts of the RV that are needed to install equipment or run cables, you won't have to empty storage or fridge before arrival to B-Haven. You are welcome to arrive the day before your scheduled appointment, and stay the day after. You can stay in your rig during the upgrade and there is internet available.

Current Rates

  • Hourly: $180
  • Daily: $1200
  • Travel fee: $250 per visit (doesn't apply to B-Haven or rallies)

After service

When your service is completed, a detailed bill (via PayPal invoice) will be sent to your email address. You can pay online with a credit card which is processed through PayPal (an account is not required). We also accept cash and checks, but card payment is preferred.
