These package deals provide up-front pricing for our most popular upgrades when performed at B‑Haven. The cost includes all components, cabling, installation time, and also local sales tax -- the cost shown below is exactly what you will pay. These packages are compatible with and designed to fit all years of the Winnebago Travato, but in most cases can be adapted to other vans and RVs without additional cost. Customizing packages is also possible, such as supplying your own component or adding an additional component such as an additional battery, and these changes will be reflected on the final bill. After determining which package will fit your needs, continue to the Service page to sign up.
To be able to run the air conditioner and the microwave and all outlets from battery power, it's necessary to select one of the packages that includes the Victron 3000 inverter. Without installing the larger inverter, the 120 volt outlets and appliances only work in the same way they did before (i.e. requires generator or limited power from an existing inverter).
Beteween the packages that include the Victron 3000 inverter there are two levels:
Economy: VL-xxx
Advanced: VAL-xxx
Note: We are no longer recommending the Epoch 105 battery, as we have had some concerns where used with a generator, and the cost of two 105s is nearly the price of one 300. For certain RVs such as the Solis Pocket that don't have the larger upright tray (both trays are tilted) and don't have a generator, we can still provide that solution.
We do not have upgrade packages or pricing available for the Travato models using the Volta 48v battery system. While the VL and VAL packages come close to the features of a Volta system as an upgrade option for non-L models, replacing the Volta components for a failed system is a considerably more difficult and expensive process. We recommend working with Voltagen to rule out any possibility of repairing your existing system before considering a full replacement from another source.
